If anyone from Aastra is reading this...

It's been months of back and forth communications with Aastra and BSL Telecom trying to get some simple replacement parts that we're more than capable of replacing.

We need the small 'flippable' clip that holds the handset on the base when wall mounted, and replacement clear screen covers (some covers are cracked).

We're looking for 100 of the clips and 30 of the 6757i acrylic screen covers.

Aastra says they won't give parts and only BSL will service the phones. BSL was to 'repair' them to give us a new $0.50 clip for $45/phone + all shipping charges. We can't just send in 30+ phones to get a clip installed.

I'm hoping someone from Aastra can help and get us in touch with a different division that could provide us with parts.

We're authorized for servicing many other manufacturers electronics, but it seems getting Aastra parts is near impossible.

Worst part of this all is that we're a major electronics/computer retailer, and our customers see our Aastra phones with cracked screens and cardboard/tape holding the handsets in place. That's not a great selling point.

Williams Telecommunications

Williams Telecommunications and Synnex Canada.... We've contacted both, they've contacted Aastra and both cannot get parts.

We made our own

We ended up making our own. They were a little expensive in small quantities but when the alternative is a $50 repair I figured it was worth it.

If there is enough interest I could probably make more.
