The 9143i's come up and flash the ext I assigned them to in the Endpoint config and then immediately ask for extension and password.

No matter how many times I verify that I put in the correct information, it constantly comes back with authentication failed.

There's only 2 extensions that work.

I am completely confused here.

Help! :(

If you have the scripts

If you have the scripts installed you don't use the endpoint manager.

Did you read the xml-script instructions?

No endpoint manager with the scripts

Hi jerricho,

If you use the Trixbox endpoint manager to generate the MAC.cfg config file, as the phone will pickup the aastra.cfg generated by the setup-aastra-xml command it will go to the self-configuration mechanism as the action uri startup is activated in aastra.cfg.

If you use the endpoint manager you will need to add the following line in the endpoint manager generated MAC.cfg
action uri startup:

This will disable the self-configuration mechanism coming from the XML scripts.

Also FYI, the password requested by the self-configuration is the voice mail password not the SIP password.

Skyking is right you should have a look at the documentation for the XML scripts as it is pretty detailed and more powerful than the endpoint manager...

Regards
