Speed Dial PRG Key won't accept ## from config file

If you enter ##70# as the value for a speed dial in either aasta.cfg or (macaddress).cfg the speed dial is ignored.

For example:

prgkey1 type:speeddial
prgkey1 value:##70#

However if you use the Web Gui for the phone you can enter this dial string and the phone will park the call with one touch (assuming you have 70 as your parking lot feature code).

You can use the dedicated function park in the type field however you have to disconnect the call from after it is transfered.

I would rather not have to touch every phone I install from the Web GUI.

Any ideas appreciated...

Solved - One touch park on new 9143i's

The extra pound automates the transfer, it reads the park location then hangs up automatically.

The answer is in the new Aastra firmware you must enclose the speed dial value in quote if the string begins with a 0.

Hope this helps someone.
