This is a completely unsupported modification. It is very simple and it works. This is on our operator console. If I was to do it at a customer site I would use a hacksaw to make the cuts neater.

Requirements:

  1. One fine tooth hacksaw
  2. Glue gun
  3. Q 2 Tilt bases

Install base as normal on phone. On sidecar remove material at top and bottom as required to prevent overlap. Remove plastic for key hole insertion on 561M that overlaps to host phone. Use hot glue at joint (not required but works best) as shown.

Nice, you should also glue

Nice, you should also glue in a black plastic stick that goes the whole width at the bottom of the stands (where there's the rubber). Just glue it on top so the rubber still does its job, but then it would make sure both stands are the exact same inclination.

glad to know

Glad to know I'm not the only one who did the exact same "mod"... about 2 1/2 minutes after my first order of them arrived :-)

Cheers
