IP 6000 Questions

I have two IP 6000 phones being used with Trixbox. In setting them up in the Endpoint Manager I specified them as IP 4000 phones, because there is no entry for IP 6000.

1. When the phones boot, there is a message that sip.ld is not compatible with the phones. Is this a problem? Is this fixable?

2. To dial, my brain says push the big "Phone" button and dial normally. We have things set up so that a 9 prefix is needed to make an outside call. If I hit that button and dial normally with 9 and 1 ahead of the normal 10 digit number, I get an error message "all circuits are busy." But, if I dial 9, hit send, dial 1 + 10 digits, and hit send again, all is fine. I can also press the "New Call" button and dial 91 + 10 digits successfully.

Our other phones are Aastras and I just dial 91 + 10 digits normally. Can't I do the same with the IP 6000s? How?

Thanks for your help/advice.

1 - Install the right

1 - Install the right version of the software from Polycom site, I have no idea what software you are trying to load
2 - You need to configure the dial plan for the phone in the /tftpboot/sip.conf

I can answer one

1. When the phones boot, there is a message that sip.ld is not compatible with the phones. Is this a problem? Is this fixable?
- You can download the the fairly current version 3.2.5 of Polycom software and place the part_number.sip.ld on your TFTP server (trixbox) and the phone will automatically download this version and it will not disrupt any other phones versions. However I recommend taking all the phones to the current versions.
