IP501 and Missed calls on display

I'm trying to have the number of missed calls message not show on the display for the phone. What I've done is edited /tftpboot/sip.cfg at the feature line to where feature 8 (the missed calls list) is set to 0. (feature.8.name="calllist-missed" feature.8.enabled="0")

Though this disables the missed calls call list completely to where I cannot see the missed calls period. I still would like to be able to see the missed calls list when I press the Call Lists button on the phone, but I don't want the "# New Missed Calls" message to be displayed on the main screen. I would like for the time stamp to be displayed all the time.

you can't change that currently

You can only enable or disable missed calls like you said.

In the new version 3.1.2 the missed call counter scrolls top to bottom and shows the missed calls and the clock.
