Polycom 501 problems with call waiting

Hi,
I have a polycom 501 and I share the same SIP registration across all 3 line keys with reg.1.lineKeys="3".
I also have callsPerLineKey="1".
The problem I'm having is that when a 2nd call comes in when someone is on a line the person on the phone receives a call waiting beep, and then the audio on their current call stops. The call is still connected, but there is no audio on their end. The remote end can still hear audio fine.

Any ideas?
The firmware is 2.0.x on the 501. Callwaiting is enabled on the extension in FreePBX.
Note: the same issue still happens with 2.2.2.

I haven't heard of this

I haven't heard of this particular problem, but feedback from my peers in Support would be more appropriate. Please open a case with your Polycom Distributor/Reseller.

I do think this might be a bug

I would try to upgrade one phone and test. Also please do open a support case with Polycom.

It could also be bad config files, check that all your files are complete and maybe try a fresh unmodified sip.cfg.

Actually I think I've solved

Actually I think I've solved the issue by upgrading to 3.1.1 of Polycom's SIP Firmware.

Thanks.
