Hi,
OK, I am relatively new to programming Polycoms and have a 650 with boot 4.3 and SIP 3.3 on Trixbox 2.8.0.4. I have taken the SIP 3.3 sample configs and carefully made up a config set for the 650. But one thing I can't seem to pin down is that when I hit "New Call" or hit a line button and get a dial tone, then type a '*' (as the beginning to '*97' or whatever), I get a second dialtone and the dial line now has '*@my.sip.proxy.ipaddr' and anything I type is tacked on to the end of this. If I dial '*97' and then hit 'Dial' it does fine. I have SIP URL dialing turned off. I have EFK turned off. But I *do* have buddy presence turned on. At one point, I had a barebones config I had cut-n-pasted from posts here and then I did not have this behavior, so something else added this when I expanded the configs.
All I want is that when I hit 'New Dial' and/or a line button and get a dial tone, is that if I type a '*' then that is all I get and not '@my.sip.proxy.ipaddr' tacked on.
And is the second dial tone really a second dial tone or just the same dial tone I started with just with the dial string modified? I seriously thought turning off URL dialing would get rid if this (from a post I read about feature.9.enabled=0 (pre-3.3 format - so for 3.3 I did '
If anyone can just tell me what/why this behavior is I can sure figure out the config changes.
Thanks much!
