Are we going to get a working set of drivers for trixbox CE 2.8 anytime soon?
setup-sangoma on 2.8?
Andrew says they dont work right.
Sangoma drivers:
wanpipe-modules-2.6.18-128.1.10.el5-3.5.4.8-0.i686.rpm
wanpipe-util-3.5.4.8-0.i686.rpm
Works great off the sangoma site but you have to get the right ones. They have two with the same name...
one for *2.8.0.1 and one for 2.6.2.3 I have 2.8.0.1 ran with no problems.
hardware: a104 de
Yes the ones at http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-asterisk-trixbox-rpms#fstinall for 2.8 work great but they do not have BRI support. So if you do not have a BRI card then there is no issues using this driver. If you have a BRI card then you will need to wait until we sort out the compiling issue with the customer Asterisk version on Trixbox 2.8.
Any update on this? It's pretty confusing to give somebody a bunch of extra steps when all the instructions they find simply say to run setup-sangoma and all the magic just happens.
Hi Kerry,
Currently Fonality is running some QA on the RPMs and they should be released shortly given they pass the QA.
Whats the status on the RPMs for 2.8.0.2?
I'm rebuilding our trixbox server due to a physical location move, because it was easier, and I don't see SRC compiling steps, or RPMs available for 2.8.0.2.
Any help would be appreciated.
Off to the wiki...
http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-asterisk-trixbox-rpms#fstinall
shows the steps required.
It works as advertised. However, I've got some oddities (issues where the send and receive packets seem to 'crash' with simultaneous sends on the D-channel) to my TSP. The guilty party seems to be librpri-1.4.10-1 and libpri-1.4.10-2 is supposed to fix it, but the RPM isn't yet available from the trixbox repository.
Hi All,
We now have Trixbox 2.8.0.2 RPMs on our wiki at http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-asterisk-trixbox-rpms#fstinall. Now you can use this for Trixbox 2.8.0.1 but you will have to upgrade Asterisk 1.6.0.10-3. If there is any questions please contact techdesk@sangoma.com
Sounds like we are experiencing simmilar issue. We run into the issue where out Phone system will say 'the number you have dialed is not longer in service' Or if you trial dial out you CAN NOT. Looking at the Sangoma card it is showig a RED light. When we try and do a shutdown of the Linux server shutdown-r now it just hangs up and we have to manually power off the server. I am sure this is related to the Sangom divers. We are currently running Trixbox CE 2.8. Please advise.
