Unsupported SubVendor

Hi,

I'm trying to install a Sangoma B710100DE card on a HP Proliant 360 G5 with Trixbox 2.6.2.1.

I already installed wanpipe-modules and wanpipe-util according to Zaptel, asterisk and kernel versions.

Now my problem is that wanroute hwprobe fails and when i check /var/log/messages there is this error:
wanpipe: Unsupported SubVendor ID:A700 (bus=4, slot=20)
.

Wanrouter:
[Trixbox]# wanrouter hwprobe verbose

FATAL: Error inserting wanpipe (/lib/modules/2.6.18-92.1.18.el5/kernel/drivers/net/wan/wanpipe.ko): No such device

Hi Bruno,

If you upgrade to the latest driver at http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-linux-drivers#beta then this will fix your issue. Now there is no RPMs for this for your version of Trixbox so go to http://wiki.sangoma.com/wanpipe-asterisk-trixbox-rpms#drivfrmsour... and this will show you how to install from source. If you have any questions or issues email techdesk@sangoma.com.

I tried to compile following the steps on that web site.

Almost everything went well but I got this error:

The installation ended with that but when I execute wanrouter hwprobe my card is detected.

I'll try to keep with the configurations but i need to know about the error during the installation, if it is going to cause troubles..

I'm not shure it this is related to that error but when I run wanrouter hwprobe the analog port is not showed.

It shows 2 ports (TE ports) and nothing more.

As this installation is in an HP proliant 360 I have anexternal power suply to the card in order to work in FXS mode.

Hi,

Please enable ssh and give me a call directly at 1-905-474-1990 x123 and I will look into this for you. Also do not hook up external power supplies to the card because the ground will differ from the ground on the servers power supply and this will most likely destroy the analog module/card.
