Good Day...
I am having an issue with one of my GXP2000's. I can log on to the USER account with 123, but any combination I try for the ADMIN account will not accept a password. I have tried, "grandstream", "password", "123456", and a few that would be the passwords I would use, but nothing will work.
Anyone have any ideas on how to reset the password back to the default? I have tried factory reset from the telephone set. That has not worked either.

I presume you tried "admin"?
Yes I did try admin and Admin and ADMIN... :) But to no avail.
I am running firmware 1.1.6.16. I can log into the other units, just not this one.

I am experiencing the same issue. using the menu doesn't work, able to log in as user. Is there anyway to reset the phones to factory defaults?
You can reset the GXP-2000 by going to Menu -> Config -> Factory Reset.
You'll need to enter the MAC address of the phone and then confirm your actions.
This will wipe all settings on the phone and should reset the admin password to 'admin'.
