7960 with mcgp firmware unknown password

I guess there is no way to reset the mcgp firmware? **# does not work and holding down # upon booting does not work either firmware P0M3-06-4-00

The phone should still be looking for the OS79XX.TXT file, just make sure you have the SIP image listed in there and also of course have images loaded on the server. Just reboot the phone the hard way (power plug) and see if it will load.

I got lucky the unlock code
