7970 ssh not working

Has anyone been able to get ssh to Cisco 7970G working properly?

When I ssh from my Ubuntu it accepts my id and password first time and then comes up with a login prompt. When I enter the details for the second time I get a incorrect login/password message.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Cisco 7970 IP Phone - SSH login with username and password
- Find out your IP address (Settings => Network Configuration => IP Address=
- Use an ssh client to login on your IP address and port 22
- For logging in use user/pass that you have defined in SEP.xml.cnf file (sshUserId/sshPassword)
- When prompted again log in as user debug and password debug

Just could not find any reference to user debug and password debug anywhere else. Logged into the phone without any problems.
