setup login service for 7940g

Is there anyway we can setup 7940 SIP services button as I use it as on SCCP which I can login with my extension# and password to make this becomes my extension? My company phone is using SCCP and when I press services button, it gives me "Extension Mobility", then I can login with my extension and password.

There is a way i have heard of while going through my Asterisk certs with Jared Smith (from Digium) but never made it work. The hack was with with a perl script and using Agent Login. Thus your extensions are meaning less and your agent id becomes your extension. would like to figure it out one day as well.

Maybe you can post a little more info on how it works with call manager and SCCP, thus allowing me maybe to figure this out.
