Looking for a PRI solution for a client but I'm not sure what to tell the ISP to deliver, in order to hook up with the Rhino R1T1-EC card.

What type of signaling? E&M/Wink , E&M/Immediate or ISDN

If ISDN signaling, switch type: 4ess, 5ess, dms100 or ni2

How many digits to send to the cpe?

Thoughts? Any solutions working better than others?

The card does: d4/AMI or ESF/B8Zs (most common)
Asterisk supports all the above mentioned modes.

I recommend simply ordering a PRI. As long as your carrier is not using something way out in left field then typically it can be made to work.

If you use a stock genzaptelconf/dahdi_genconf it will setup the following.

Line: ESF/B8ZS
Signaling PRI CPE
B Channels 1-23
D Channel 24
Switch type National (NI-2)
