Trouble and don't know where to go....

I have spent the last couple of evening trying to get my Trixbox working with my 9133i telephones.

I setup the trunks, incoming/outgoing. I am using Bandwidth.com for my SIPs.

When I call my trixbox, I get the all circuits are busy. When I pick up my 9113i and try to call out, it calls out, but nothing - no answer, no ring.

I upgraded my 9113i to the newest firmware via TFTP.

I guess I am really confused.

Do I need to have the aastra.cfg file in the TFTP and the MACNAME.cfg file? I have a MACNAME.cfg that shows that I have configured some of the 9113i.

So now I am just looking to see how I should start to troubleshoot this. Should I try to get my trunks, indbound/outbound working first, before trying to get the 9113i configured?

Re: Trouble and don't know where to go....

Hi

1st, take a look at the following thread
9133i does not register

My thought is to get the phones working 1st talking to each other on the same lan as the trixbox

Register 2 new extensions using freepbx, then create their .cfg using the endpont manager.

check that the firmware aastra.cfg and the .cfg ( you need both the .cfg and the aastra.cfg )are in the /tftpboot directory.
Once you get the phones talking together then you can eliminate them and solve your outgoing SIP trunk issues.

Re: Trouble and don't know where to go....

Thanks - that seem to do the trick.

I didn't have the aastra.cfg file in the tftpboot directory. So I ran the setup-aastra which created the aastra.cfg. So I ran into my office and tried to call the phone with a softphone and it worked.

Now - just to get the incoming/outgoing calls to work.
