I had HudLite up and running on an internal IP - worked just great

Then I moved it to a production environment, using an external IP address and my HudLite clients could not connect - I thought it might be firewall so disabled etc - problem persisted

So, I un-installed Hud Lite, re-booted, re-installed ( just in case )

Now it does not appear in the TrixBox GUI at all !!
I have re-checked in packages and it IS installed

Any help much appreciated

Totally confused, Hudlite is

Totally confused, Hudlite is on the workstations and the Hudlite Manager is on the server. Are you saying the Hudlite Manager is missing from the triixbox dashboard?

Yes

Yes, , HudLite Manager (Server) is missing. When I go to the Trixbox dashboard, under the Asterisk drop-down menu, I have FreePBX, Config Edit, Asterisk Info & Endpoint Manager, but no Hud

Hud is definately running OK, we are using it on our workstations.
To edit extensions etc I edit the /etc/asterisl/hud/users.xml file manually and the changes are reflected on all workstations.

This happened round about the time I changed my IP adddres, which caused a problem till I deleted all the .back files from the /etc/asterisk/hud folder
What I did at the same time was tighten up security by changing all passwords - so it might have something to do with that.

Your products ROCKS !

I am having i think the same

I am having i think the same problem. When i install from the package manager, it says it installs fine - no problem, but it doesnt not show up in the drop down menu under the asterisk menu. If i click the asterisk menu, HUDLite admin shows up as an option, but if i click it, it goes to a blank page with just the trixbox logo and copyright info. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same thing. I do not know if the HUDLite server is actually working because this is a fresh install (upgrade from 1.2.3). If this is confusing, i can try to provide screenshots of what i mean somehow.

thanks,

Yes

Yes, I installed it using the Packages option in Trixbox

Initially it was on the menu, and worked a charm, then I changed IP's to move it to production, and that is when I lost the menu items
