How do i set this up? Is this a polycom thing or is it an asterisk thing? My guess is that's it a polycom thing since the dial tones are generated anyways. Any insights?

What you will need to do is

What you will need to do is edit the sip.cnf file. In that file you'll find the 'dialplan.digitmap' entry. You'll have to add a comma where you want the second dialtone. Something like:

dialplan.digitmap="9,[2-9]xxxxxx|9,1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx"

(I don't know if all of the phones and/or firmware support this, I know it works on the IP501 w/2.x firmware.)
