Can the IP 3000 be flashed with a sip version? Are there instructions if the answer is yes?

This seems to be a 3000 from Avaya and is loaded with an H.232 rom. The docuementation on the Polycom site seems to indicate the current sip rom can be used on the 3000 but I'm having trouble figureing out how to force it to load. At least am I on the right track?
