Has anyone have any input as to the quality, ease of setup, or general comments about using the Cisco 7940G / 7960G sip phones on TB? Will endpoint manager work with the "G" models of this phone?

Cisco has a pretty bad SIP

Cisco has a pretty bad SIP implementation. I would recommend against using them. I stick to the Polycom, Aastra, or Linksys phones.

If you had your choice of phones for a harsh environment, such as a body shop stall, what would you recommend. I was thinking Cisco simply for their durability in construction. Would you rate the Aastra phones as being durable? I would put an ATA and analog phone there, but we want some of the bells and whistles that a SIP phone provides.

I would probably use an Aastra 9133i. They are pretty rugged, work well, and are inexpensive to replace.

Thanks

Thanks for the Quick Response. When is your next webinar by the way? Any events coming to Atlanta Georgia any time soon?
